Blue-green algae Red Alert warning for two locations at Wyangala Dam has been cleared

The red alert warning for blue-green algae for Wyangala Dam at the Inland Waters Park and the dam walllocationswas lifted following two consecutive algal sample results of lower than red alert level. The sites are now on amber alert for blue-green algae.

The previously issued Red Alert level warning (high alert) for toxic blue-green algae has been cleared for Pindari Dam located near Inverell.

WaterNSW has issued a Red Alert advisory for high levels of potentially toxic blue-green algae (High Alert) for Chifley Dam on behalf of Bathurst Regional Council. Chifley Dam is located approximately 20km South of Bathurst.

WaterNSW has issued a red alert advisory for high levels of potentially toxic blue-green algae at Lake Brewster Inflow, the inflow wetland upstream of eastern spillway, the regulator channel as well as the outlet channel.

The Red Alert level warning issued by WaterNSW for a high level of potentially toxic blue-green algae has been cleared for Glenbawn Dam in the upper Hunter region.

WaterNSW has issued a red alert advisory for high levels of potentially toxic blue-green algae at three additional Wyangala Dam locations. The locations are at the Inland Waters Park, the dam wall and the Lachlan River immediately downstream of the dam.

The previously issued Red Alert level warning (high alert) for toxic blue-green algae has been cleared for Split Rock Dam, and the Manilla River from Split Rock Dam to the township of Manilla in the Barwon Region.

WaterNSW has issued a Red Alert advisory for high levels of potentially toxic blue-green algae for Pindari Dam near Inverell. Water users downstream of the storage should apply caution and regularly check water supplies.

Blue-green algal Red Alert issued for Burrendong Dam and the Macquarie River downstream Burrendong Dam to Dubbo

WaterNSW has issued a Red Alert advisory for high levels of potentially toxic blue-green algae for Burrendong Dam and the Macquarie River downstream of Burrendong Dam extending to and past Dubbo in the Central West region. This alert is based on visual observations that are supported by satellite imagery.

The previously issued Red Alert level warning (high alert) for toxic blue-green algae has been cleared for Cudgegong River below Windamere Dam and Mudgee in the Central West region.
