The red alert warnings for blue-green algae for the Murray River at Murray Downs as well as the Wakool River at the Wakool-Barham Road crossing were lifted following two consecutive algal sample results of lower than red alert level. Both sites are now on amber alert for blue-green algae.

The previously issued Red Alert level warning (high alert) for toxic blue-green algae has been cleared for Windamere Dam located near Mudgee in the Central West region.

The previously issued Red Alert level warning (high alert) for toxic blue-green algae (Cyanobacteria) has been cleared for the Burrendong Dam in the Central West region located 30 kilometres south-east of Wellington in the Central West region.
