Blue-green algal red alert lifted for Lachlan River at Corrong

The red alert warning for blue-green algae that was issued for the Lachlan River at Corrong has been lifted. The red alert was lifted following two consecutive laboratory reports for algal samples of lower than red alert level. The Lachlan River at Corrong is now on amber alert for blue-green algae.

Red, blue-green algal warning lifted for Lake Brewster inflow wetland upstream of eastern spillway

The red alert warning for blue-green algae that was issued for Lake Brewster inflow wetland upstream of eastern spillway has been lifted. The red alert was lifted following two consecutive laboratory reports for algal samples of lower than red alert level. Lake Brewster inflow wetland upstream of eastern spillway is now on amber alert for blue-green algae.

WaterNSW has issued a Red Alert advisory for high levels of potentially toxic blue-green algae for Hunter River upstream of Glenbawn Dam, from Belltrees to the upper reaches of the lake. The red alert does not apply to Lake Glenbawn.

Blue-green algal Red Alert issued for Quipolly Dam

WaterNSW has issued a Red Alert (high alert) advisory for high levels of potentially toxic blue-green algae for Quipolly Dam on behalf of Liverpool Plains Shire Council. Quipolly Dam is located approximately 10km north-east of Quirindi.
