Using iWAS

Our 24/7 online Water Accounting System (iWAS) allows you to easily access and manage your water account anywhere, anytime. iWAS is available to all registered WaterNSW regulated river, unregulated river and groundwater customers.

Login to use iWAS
  1. Go to the login page
  2. Enter your customer number which can be found on your Water Account Statement.

  3. Enter registration password
  4. Click the 'Log in' button

You must enter the password used for registration and then create a new password. Your password must contain at least six (6) characters and include numerals and letters for enhanced security.

Register to use iWAS
  1. Go to the registration page on our website
  2. Enter your customer number which can be found on your Water Account Statement.

  3. Enter the activation code (customer reference number on your bill)

  4. Enter the temporary password IWAS00 (zero/zero)
  5. Enter a valid email
  6. Read and tick the terms and conditions box
  7. Click the 'Register' button
  8. An email will be sent to the registered email requesting validation

  • View your available water and account balance
  • Enter and amend water orders
  • Place bulk water orders
  • Stay on top of important water information with WaterNSW news and announcements
  • View and download the allocation assignment register
  • Create a master account allowing customers to link other customers to their iWAS account
  • Enter meter reads or estimated water take, even if you don’t have a meter installed
