Blue-green algae red alert lifted for Darling Anabranch at Silver City Highway crossing

The red alert warning for blue-green algae at Darling Anabranch at the Silver City Highway crossing has been lifted after two consecutive algal samples showed levels below the red alert threshold.

Blue-green algae red alert for Iron Pot Creek downstream of Toonumbar Dam

WaterNSW has issued a red alert advisory for high levels of potentially toxic blue-green algae for Iron Pot Creek immediately downstream of the Toonumbar dam in the north of the state. Previously issued red alert advisory for the Toonumbar Dam remains in place for high level of potentially toxic blue-green algae.

WaterNSW has issued a red alert advisory for high levels of blue-green algae for Lake Brewster outlet channel.

Red, blue-green algal warning lifted for Lake Brewster regulator channel

The red alert warning for blue-green algae that was issued for Lake Brewster regulator channel has been lifted. The red alert was lifted following two consecutive laboratory reports for algal samples of lower than red alert level. Lake Brewster regulator channel is now on amber alert for blue-green algae.

WaterNSW has issued a Red Alert advisory for high levels of potentially toxic blue-green algae for Macintyre River at Inverell. This Red Alert also applies to Lake Inverell, upstream and downstream of the township.
