Red, blue-green algal warning lifted for Lake Tandure near Menindee

The red alert warning for blue-green algae that was issued for Lake Tandure near Menindee was lifted following two consecutive laboratory algal reports which indicates that the lake is no longer on red alert for blue-green algae. Lake Tandure is now on amber alert for blue-green algae.

Blue-green algae Red Alert for Burrinjuck Dam-Goodhope

WaterNSW has issued a Red Alert advisory for high levels of potentially toxic blue-green algae for Burrinjuck Dam at Goodhope. Water users downstream of the storage should apply caution and regularly check water supplies.

The red alert warning for blue-green algae that was issued for the Darling River at the Pomona boat ramp in the Wentworth Weir Pool, was lifted following two consecutive laboratory algal reports which indicates that the lake is no longer on red alert for blue-green algae. The Darling River at the Pomona boat ramp in the Wentworth Weir Pool is now on amber alert for blue-green algae.

The Darling River, 13 km upstream of Pomona in the Wentworth Weir Pool is now on amber alert for blue-green algae.

WaterNSW has issued a Red Alert advisory for high levels of potentially toxic blue-green algae (High Alert) at for Chifley Dam on behalf of Bathurst Regional Council. Chifley Dam is located approximately 20km South of Bathurst.
