Please note your obligations under the Water Management Act 2000 and its Regulations when submitting this Notice:
You must have the faulty meter repaired/replaced within 21 days of becoming aware of the faulty meter. If you require more time to repair/replace the faulty meter, you must submit a request for an extension available on our website. You may only use the work with a faulty meter within the first 21 days or after WaterNSW authorises any requested extension (together referred to as the ‘authorisation period’).
Once the meter has been repaired/replaced and within 28 days of the meter being repaired/replaced, you must provide a record of your water taken and provide evidence that the meter has been repaired/replaced by a duly qualified person.
