A Red Alert level warning (high alert) for blue-green algae has been issued for Lake Cargelligo Town Water Supply sampling site. This follows Red alerts for blue-green algae that were declared for Lake Cargelligo Outlet at Lake Creek and Lake Cargelligo Boatshed on 11 February.

Barwon-Regional Algae Coordinating Committee (B-RACC) has issued a Red Alert (high alert) for blue-green algae warning for Malpas Dam on behalf of Armidale Regional Council. Malpas Dam is located approximately 10km South East of Guyra.

WaterNSW successfully protects Sydney’s raw water

A red alert level warning (high alert) for blue-green algae has been issued for Darling River at Tilpa and Rose Isle located approximately 60km South West of Bourke. This alert also applies to existing pools in the river that extend upstream and downstream of these sites.
