Red Alert warning lifted for the Murrumbidgee River at Redbank Weir

The red alert warning for the Murrumbidgee at Redbank Weir has now been lifted due to consecutive results showing a reduction in blue green algae concentrations over the past few weeks.

As the red alert has been lifted there are no longer any restrictions on recreational activities and water sourced from the river is now suitable for stock and domestic uses.
