WaterNSW cements status as customer info service hub

WaterNSW has further consolidated its role as the principal source of customer services and water information in NSW following the addition of crucial information to its website.

Improved information now available from waternsw.com.au website includes licensing information, real-time data and applications such as the NSW Water Register, Water Applications Online and the Harvestable Rights Calculator.

The expanded range of online services means the WaterNSW website is the state’s primary source of information for:

  • water licensing advice, applications and renewals
  • water account transactions and dealings processing
  • water entitlement and allocation trade
  • water ordering
  • market information
  • metering and billing
  • information services including water quantity, quality, cease to pump and algae alerts
  • water real-time data from our automatic digital devices from over 1,200 water monitoring sites throughout the state. Information includes stream, storage or groundwater levels, stream flows, storage volumes, water temperatures, rainfall and various types of water quality data.

WaterNSW Executive Manager, Customer and Community, David Stockler said consolidating the information under the WaterNSW banner was the latest enhancement to the growing suite of services available to customers.

“WaterNSW provides access to information, as well as advice and support, and bringing this data together takes our customer service offering to the next level,” Mr Stockler said.

“Our stated intention and the drive behind the range of services and enhancements we have instigated in recent months is to partner with other agencies and our customers, to make it easier for them to run their businesses and manage their water accounts.”
