Red Alert algae warning lifted at Pindari Dam

06 December 2018

The Red Alert for blue-green algae at Pindari Dam has now been lifted following two consecutive results below red alert levels at each storage site. Blue green algae concentrations have decreased over the past few weeks with the lake now at Amber Alert.

As the Red Alert has been lifted there are no longer any restrictions advised for recreational activities. Stock and domestic water users should continue to monitor water sources for signs of blue-green algae.
