Description

The Keepit Dam Upgrade is scheduled to begin construction works in April 2017. For safety reasons, public access to the main wall will not be permitted during the construction period, however a viewing and turning area will be available at the approach to the main wall. The access restrictions will commence from Thursday 23 March 2017, and continue until mid-2019. WaterNSW apologises for any inconvenience to the public caused during this period.

Upgrade to comply with ANCOLD and contemporary safety standards. Construct two spillways, three saddle dams and works to the main dam wall. Storage capacity and water releases will not be altered by the upgrade.

  • 2016 - Commence post-tensioning
